To quote one of our amazing brides, our 2024 wedding season has us "screaming, crying”! We’re feeling all kinds of grateful and excited as we look back on all of the incredible weddings we got to be a part of this year. From vibrant color palettes to creating unforgettable guest experiences, it’s been a year full of creativity and fun memories. 🥰 Thank you to our incredible couples for trusting us to bring your visions to life in a way that reflects each of your unique personalities!

A Year of Bold Color and Personal Touches

2024 was all about embracing color and personality—and our couples did just that! From bright, playful hues to rich, jewel tones, this year’s weddings were a celebration of individuality and creativity. Vibrant floral arrangements, customized signage designs, and unexpected details brought a special touch to each celebration, and we loved seeing how our couples chose to make their day unique. For us, wedding design is about the mix of textures as much as it is about the mix of colors!

We also saw the rise of personalized touches that made each wedding even more special:

• Live Watercolor Art: One of our favorite additions this year was the live watercolor painter who created custom portraits for every guest—a thoughtful keepsake that added a creative flair.

• Handwritten Notes for Every Guest: Two couples took personalization to the next level with handwritten notes for each guest. The bride and groom thoughtfully wrote notes to make every person feel truly appreciated. How sweet is that?!

• Interactive Entertainment: So many of our weddings included interactive entertainment, which was so fun for guests! From a Cigar Roller and Espresso Cart to a Live Drag Show and Late Night Taco Bell, entertainment was elevated in new and exciting ways. We even had a Sushi + Pizza Bar and live music featuring a Saxophone and Bongo Player—all creating an energetic atmosphere filled with fun surprises.

Strolling Receptions: A New Take on Guest Experience

One of the standout trends we noticed in 2024 was the shift toward strolling receptions—a non-traditional approach that encourages mingling and interaction. Overall, our couples really prioritized a unique, fun guest experience. A “strolling reception” floor plan allows guests to explore multiple experiences, enjoy different food and entertainment stations, and connect with one another in a more relaxed setting.

While these types of receptions create an air of casual/mingling vibes, they require thoughtful planning to ensure a smooth flow. Your guests still need to feel guided throughout the wedding and reception experience. Carefully curated seating arrangements, food stations, and entertainment must be strategically placed to guide guests through the evening in a way that feels natural and seamless. Creating this balanced atmosphere was a highlight of the year, and we look forward to seeing more couples choose this fun, engaging format!

As we move into 2025, we’re more inspired than ever to push the boundaries of wedding design, creativity, and guest experience. 😁 We want to continue delivering fresh, one-of-a-kind celebrations that leave a lasting impact on couples and their guests.
